Simon Walton

Principal, Japanese International School

Simon led a variety of Hong Kong International schools for over 30 years and is very familiar with various aspects of the education system in Hong Kong. 

Born in Hong Kong, he grew up and educated in the United Kingdom. He returned to Hong Kong to develop a teaching career. He loves it and has never left!

He has a family of two children - both children have experienced the Hong Kong schooling system before attending university in the United Kingdom. Simon has developed a rich experience in Hong Kong’s international schooling system and has nurtured children from kindergarten up to young adults

Since summer 2007, Simon has been the Principal of the Japanese International School.
