Brian Cooklin

Principal, Nord Anglia International School Hong Kong

A teacher of over 40 years’ experience and a Principal for 22 of them in the U.K., Mexico and now Hong Kong, Brian Cooklin is the Founding Principal of Nord Anglia International School.  The school has opened three campuses in three years and is part of the Nord Anglia Education group.

Educated in Glasgow, Brian is a former President of the Headteachers’ Association of Scotland, School Leaders Scotland and was an executive member of ASCL in England, as well as a council member of the International Confederation of Principals.  Involved in a number of EU Education projects, Brian also served on Scottish and U.K. Government working parties and was a member of the UCAS Board.

An accomplished public speaker and trainer, Brian has spoken at conferences worldwide and trained teachers in three continents.
